Industry Partners host events to educate and give us an opportunity to network. Receive our monthly electronic Creative Brief that helps members keep up with current events, member news and more in our chapter. It reaches more than 700 design professionals, industry partners and design students in the state of Washington.

We welcome submissions for Creative Brief from our members, Industry Partners and sponsors. Awards, events, and other newsworthy items should be sent in a brief announcement (max 35 words) to the chapter office (communications@asidwa.org). Submissions must be received by noon on the 2nd Wednesday of the month to be listed in that month's issue.

ASID -- Protecting Your Right
to Practice

Of all the opportunities now facing interior design professionals, the movement to secure interior designers' right to practice is among the most significant. ASID is the interior design profession's leader for the advocacy of interior design right-to-practice issues, building codes, public health, safety and welfare concerns, and other governmental issues relevant to the interior design profession. ASID Washington State Chapter serves the entire state of Washington as well as British Columbia and Canada. Our chapter is approximately 500 members strong. The membership is comprised of designers (Allied and Professional members), industry representatives (Industry Partners), student members and educators. We are proud to have student members at seven schools in the state:
